Laavanya, new in town and new to marriage, meets four other young ladies who give her membership to the DIL Club, the club for daughters-in-law. There is also an MIL Club for mothers-in-law which her mother-in-law Mrs. Hrimaan joins. How the traditional hostility between the two groups is removed is the story of this comedy, which along the way, take more than a few digs at the social mores and idiosyncrasies that pervade these women’s lives.
