The modern woman has the dubious distinction of being in perhaps her most publicly available avatar. Women and their bodies have never been so visible and so exposed in documented history, and hence so widely debated in every aspect as they are at present.
The Baby Shower is an attempt to look at one woman’s struggle to deal with this exposure, to retain her piece of the sun while dealing with the demands of society and biology.
