Synopsis
'Mukhomukhi' is a social drama adapted from Samaresh Majumdar's story 'Asatyakam' and Buddhadeb Basu's verse-drama 'Pratham Partha'. Partha was born to Nirmal and Kalyani, a young couple growing distant due to their political differences. Nirmal's friend Paritosh tried help them get back together, but failed. Meanwhile Kalyani developed fondness for Paritosh and eventually married him, leaving Partha with Nirmal. Twenty years later they are successful in their careers and have a daughter. One fateful day Partha visits Kalyani, he wants to know why did she leave him?
