Synopsis

There is political turmoil in a small Kerala village where Panchayat elections are due. Both candidates fight in the name of a deceased icon. Their families also get into the fray. A wretched-looking old man wanders into the village and the temple, and the villagers proclaim him a holy man. They spend days sitting and watching him as he sits and does absolutely nothing. And then comes a rumour that he might be the iconic leader himself. The two rivals know they would have no chance of winning the election if the leader were to be resurrected now. Someone sends their henchmen and kills the old man.
