Synopsis

Three researchers named Rafique, Ria and Nadi are looking for a lost play based on the romance of Karna and Draupadi. Another character named Netaji — a roadside bookseller who knows the entire mystery behind the play — refuses to divulge any details. Dinanath, an important character of the play within the play, has been barred from performing the play on Karna-Draupadi and the three researchers wish to understand why. In the process, the characters realise that there is a lot of subterfuge regarding its performance. This is the crux of the play Sadasarvada Purvapar, which explores the relationship between an archive, history and performance unfolding like a detective mystery.
