Synopsis

Rajwade, a successful crime fiction author, lives in a large country manor house filled with elaborate games and automata. He invites his wife Sai’s lover, Ajay Talwalkar, a struggling actor, to his home to discuss the situation and would like Ajay to take his wife off of his hands. To provide him the means to support her, Rajwade suggests that Ajay steal some jewelry from the house, with Rajwade recouping his losses through an insurance claim. Ajay agrees and Rajwade leads him through an elaborate scheme to fake a robbery. At the conclusion, Rajwade pulls a gun on Ajay and reveals the bogus theft was merely a ruse to frame Ajay as a burglar so he can kill him. Rajwade then appears to fatally shoot Ajay. A few days later, Inspector Dhanwade arrives to investigate Ajay’s disappearance which Rajwade purports to know nothing about him but soon Rajwade falls into his own trap and again begins a game of life and death.
